Why i still like it:
- i'm weak for badass men falling for each other
- this is the kind of story i've wanted to read for so long!!!!
- ML's amoral behavior was acknowledged and wasn't excused
- MC clearly stated that what the ML did was fucked up and he didn't support it
- MC loved ML but didn't want to be in relationship unless the ML got his shit together

Why i still like it:
- rape wasn't romanticized
- abusive behavior was recognized as such
- author didn't change the course of the relationship to a fluffy one like many did, but instead leaving it as toxic and problematic as it should be

I think every trigger warning existing on this earth could be applied to this manga lmao-- it's that dark and depressing. And yet, there's still charm, humor, warmth , and hope even when it's so bleak sometimes, just like how the lives of these characters were. I love it.

Holy crap what a rare BL. The theme is really disturbing, sure, but the author didn't sugarcoat or glorify it at all. Instead, they acknowledged how messed up things are and presented a great thriller story.
