Best LGBT+ manga i've found so far. Harsh but hopeful, this manga is exactly what i wish i'd read growing up.

TW: internal homophobia, trauma, self-destructive behavior, promiscuous behavior, fwb
+ manly couple
+ good depiction of the aftermath of a traumatic incident
+ good writing
This is a tender and touching manga about healing and moving on. The MC, Shouta, is actually the best boy ever graced BL world. Will hurt and heal your heart so good.

[18+, drama, romance]
TW: toxic masculinity
+ established relationship
+ domestic
+ good married couple dynamics
- problematic remarks (MC implies that a bottom has less standing than a top)
I love this couple! Their dynamic is fun and touching to read. You can tell that they've been together for a long time. They're not perfect of course, but they match each other and it makes me jealous but happy, too.
☆ 5/5
[PG, slice of life, rom-com, found family, kids]
TW: emotionally abusive family
+ strangers to friends to lovers
+ wholesome
The story is revolved around strangers who started eating meals together, and is the most heartwarming BL manga ever. Seriously, it's really good for your soul. All of the characters are well written, their relationship is wonderful to read, the art is pretty...basically this whole manga is just a huge treat for me.
☆ 4.5/5
[18+, drama, romance, found family, slice of life]
TW: age gap (19 yo college student and 38 yo working man)
+ strangers to lovers
+ beautiful art and writing
A middle-aged man who's lost his passion for life and a young man who's learning to open his heart to others. Their interaction could be frustrating at times because of their difference in personality and age, but they're still a good fit together. I love these two so much.
[PG, drama, slice of life, found family, hurt/comfort]
TW: yakuza, incest and past abusive relationship (not between MCs)
+ strangers to lovers
+ interesting plot and beautiful art
A heartbroken man who is running away from his ex's debt and an ex yakuza who is running away from his past.
[18+, drama, psychological]
TW: rape (not between MCs), incest, rape attempt between father and son, toxic relationship, suicide attempt, destructive behavior, child abuse, trauma, prostitution, pedophilia
I think every trigger warning existing on this earth could be applied to this manga lmao-- it's that dark and depressing. And yet, there's still charm, humor, warmth , and hope even when it's so bleak sometimes, just like how the lives of these characters were. I love it.
☆ 4.5/5
[Gen, slice of life, found family]
TW: mention of past workplace harrassment
+ friendship/bromance
+ wholesome
A heartwarming story about an ex-professor who quit his job to become a farmer. The BL is an undertone, this is more about the beauty of the village and the family MC finds among its people. Ngl makes me want to be a farmer too.
4/5
[18+, found family, romance, slice of life, kids]
+ friends to lovers
A story about learning to lean on others. Wholesome and sweet.
