oh god this is clearly a fun manga. the other version of it posted on mangago is janked tf up, but it does have the second chapter (that's equally fucked). wish it had more.
ngl, ignored this bc of the cover. then i started it and ended up binging all 277chs LMAO. bro. the relationships between the teammates, all good and bad, are actually really well done, esp since most of them were volatile. love the one between ashido + delinquent kid, and ashido + resentful bitch. they were really interesting to read. also, LOVE all the characters, including the soccer sis and the other two girls who seem to have a strange friendship.
few chapters, so legit had to reread this before putting this on the list bc of how little impact it had on my smooth brain.
though, i will say, art is SUPER nice, and i like the character designs. seems diverse in terms of main characters. once again: LOVE the art.
i don't remember anything about this so idk what that says about this manga. i
do remember binging it (the ending is complete but i found it unsatisfying, but i also prefer mangas that last forever ig, so maybe it's my tastes that are trash and not the ending), so it's definitely not bad, but i never reread this afterwards, so i'm sure it's one of those things i finished bc i just wanted to finish it, not bc i was invested.
i like the art. it's intense and hype and really sucks you in- but tbh, for some reason, i just can't get into this plot :/. there's nothing wrong with it, and it's definitely not boring, but when it comes to sports, i like it when there's some turntable shit that relies on strategies, theories, or like i guess clever usage of abilities? and for this, any of that feels slightly predictable?
THE RELATIONSHIPS ARE SO GOOD AND SO CUTE AND I LOVE EVEN THE FILLER PARTS WHICH IS SURPRISING LMAO. the bread loaf cats are great- idk why the author draws them like they're screaming the depths of hell outta their trachea, but i enjoy them.
tbh didn't read much of it since the translated versions of this was barely updated, but i'm a sucker for sports plot especially if the sport isn't something i know much about (so lol. like. all sports), so i'm into this yeah
it says i read 156 chapters of this manga, and i call that a lie bc i recall jackshit about this past the fact that i found the relationships between the team pretty cool. anyways, pretty sure i'm stuck in an endless purgatory where i reread the chs i've already read to remind myself of them and end up dropping off where i last left off and looping back and doing it again months later-
tbh bungo kinda gives me autism spectrum vibe representation, though i'm pretty sure any manifestation of ASD symptoms are utterly unintentional by the author to be interpreted as such. also the classic "he's left handed!?" plot twist lol. love it. never gets old.
kinda basic, little depth imo in terms of plot and charcters, but i DO really like the character designs as well as their interactions. also, the twin thing got me fucked up ngl
