currently ~150ch. also i put this off for so long bc i wasnt interested in am. football, BUT ITS SO GOOD, mostly bc the characters are fucking insane. like i wont lie, hiruma has my WHOLE fucking heart and his interactions with anyone in a five mile radius is an instant deduction to everyone's mental wellbeing
i accidentally read this and i was like hundred chapters in when i realized this was the wrong manga. good manga. good soup.
the psychological tag of this scared me into putting this manga off ngl.
okay im reading this now and glad to see that PoT is just as cheeze as i last remembered it. the type of dramatic that takes itself too seriously. what a traditional manga sports plot brand LMAO. love it.
not really a sports plot. like. not at all. this manga keeps me with high hopes that they never meet since this genre is clearly more slice-of-life than a legitimate, serious sports manga. i genuinely hope author gives her an actual game.
wish this updated :') it looks fun. i usually like things that have two platonic leads, after all.
ngl, i tried rereading it so many times but for some reason i could never srsly get into it. HOWEVER, i LOVE mc. i love his attitude, his personality, everything. i also LOVE the name 'giant killing.' im slowly getting more and more into the plot, but it def took me a hot minute
unexpected ngl. the sandstorm part really took me by surprise. genuinely wish this was more than a one-shot.
(ch18) oh god the underdog who everyone underestimates and has been repressed not bc he's a pushover, but bc he felt he had to, and it's done REALLY well. PLEASEEEEEE i LOVE this art. also updating on https://rackusreader.org/manga/winning-shot/
first chapter gave me whiplash. like first anime pillow, stone skipping, fucking fact shortstack can't swim, buff pretty boy who's actually 40 and is a questionable scumbag, friendship bonded by anime towel, manager who likes sweet potatoes, there's SO much going on omg
