~Damaged Ukes~

Not going to lie, this story was a bit of a tear-jerker. The uke fails to notice that he was bought at a younger age, not only him but his brother as well and his suffering just NEVER ENDS. However, just like most ukes he falls in love with the seme who was abusing him *sighs*, but what can you do eh? I highly recommend reading this if you are into abuse, and I will probably re-read it at some point in time.

Obviously, this manga had to be added to the list. In this, the uke is being abused by his boyfriend (which is not the seme) and then meets his old friend (the seme) who he eventually gets together with. I highly recommend this even if you aren't into abuse because the ending is really sweet and this is definitely one of my favourites: ***** rating.

First story: The uke has a traumatic past, and because of that is like a loyal dog towards the leader of his group, that is, until the seme comes along and takes him all for himself. I would certainly re-read: recommended.
Second story: Fuck that priest and his confession. That is all.

For a one-shot, this manga sure does pack a punch of emotion and I LOVE it. What goes down is that the uke is raped by his friend and at the end claims, "We are falling in love"- which I find so twisted, so amazingly dark that I thought it would be blasphemy not to put it on this list. I highly recommend reading this if you are into rape, and I would definitely re-read this. It's just... GAH.

This story, this manga, is a MASTERPIECE. The uke is a male prostitute who undergoes a series of traumatic events which eventually lead to some TRAGIC happening. I honestly can't spoil this, so if you want to find out you will have to read it yourself. There is actual love between the seme and uke which makes the whole premise of the manga even darker, and I would HIGHLY recommend reading this!

Do you like abuse? Rape? Uke's almost dying? Then you HAVE to read this, it is absolutely AMAZING. When he was younger, the uke just watched as the seme was raped, thus as a result of that, this fantastic, rotten cycle of revenge was created, which all takes place at the ukes choice of work, a bus- Classy, I know. I highly recommend reading this manga because it's breathtakingly dark and you just should.

Rather than the abusive aspect of things, this manga focuses more on the emotional damage instead. The seme returns after uke removed all contact with him and orders the uke to move in with him so that he doesn't 'disappear' again. For the uke, after having years of unrequited feelings this takes a toll on him, and I highly recommend you read this if you like the emotional side to yaoi mangas. Although the emotions aren't shown strongly, it's the subtle hints of the ukes

This is a must read. A basic run-down of the events is that the seme blackmails the uke after seeing him cheat on a test, and this leads to many sexual interactions between the pair. The ukes emotions really struck a chord within me, but I couldn't really feel too much for him since he shouldn't have cheated *shrugs*. Anyway, although I don't favour the art-style, I recommend you read it, as I would re-read also.

I have to add this because of it's emotional factors. Each of the ukes in this story were bullied at one point of another, and I love how it shows the way this has psychologically affected them. There are three couples and each are unique in their own way- I honestly couldn't hate any of them as they were all so brilliantly done. You HAVE to read this if you haven't, I promise you won't be disappointed. Words can't describe how much I adored this.

It's a Harada work, how could I not put this in here? The uke is the lead vocalist for the band and heavily devoted to the seme who abuses him and would do just about anything even for a mere snippet of the seme's heart. I won't spoil what happens, but eventually, the seme gets his just deserves and eventually breaks so I guess it's all good. I highly recommend reading this, it's definitely one of my favourites.
