not only does the actual plot and the characters' circumstances feel like four consecutive punches to the face, it's like. one of the early chapters, when the mom of the glasses roommate found out about dark-haired kid's mom because she saw his face that we don't get the perspective of, that FUCKED ME UP
probably bc the plot revolves around a phenomenon that's set a bit farther in the back of our most recent generations. it's so creepy because "the man in our dreams" isn't old enough to become a widely debunked cryptid (ie: mothman), but rather, a product of shared experiences that feel unexplainably real.
uh. highkey i didnt rlly read the manhwa bc i was way more obsessed with the LN. but like. idk i guess im promoting the LN, it's super good yall
