stories that had me hooked

its an isekai... but its actually SO GOOD
the mc really just tries to live a normal life after being born as a lowkey villain and fails spectacularly

i would also say this is one of the best adapted works out there!! the anime is solid!!!

This story was so fun and I loved her character!! -1 for having a highschool student get with a teacher but its handled pretty well

"Yamaguchi Kumiko is the granddaughter of a yakuza boss who would rather become a high school teacher than continue the family tradition. The principal lets her teach on the condition that her students don't find out her background, otherwise parents will be in an uproar. Her class 2-D, is filled with delinquents, but she won't give up on them."

This has some super funny moments but the story is actually very compelling so I can't just categorize it as a comedy. Also this girl is GOING THRU IT :'')

"One random day, a high-school girl is suddenly able to see ghosts! She can't run but she tries her best to act like she can't see them at all."

The art in this, especially the use of colour, works so well. The story has a super interesting premise, can't wait to see where it goes overall. I feel like the author is setting up a lot.

WOW A THRILLER? This is an actual genuine creepy vampire story - no seriously, hear me out. The mc is a badass but in a realistic way. I need to know what happens!!!! Aaaaa

"Taxi driver Chaeah once saw her acquaintance from the church, Park Yoonsoo, walking through the city streets with a girl, but she could not even think that this would lead to the burying of evidence of murder, persecution, and a complete change in her daily lifestyle."

It'll probably be a romance eventually but I am SO hooked on the concept and the art. The mc is a little shit and I love him.
the author asked to not tag it as yaoi but like it feels like a BL. or the biggest queerbait since supernatural. a canon queer boy flirts with another guy for the whole episode but its not GAY or anything

the art for this is beautiful and fits the story so well! it's very slice of life but it deals with some realistic shit about growing up and life changing.

the story is really unique! it is a romance but it feels a lot more realistic in their interactions rather than overblown

wow this one kinda punches you in the heart. this kid is essentially cursed with eternal loneliness. anything he cares about will grow at a super speed and die within minutes if he touches it.
but the story is really good!! i also loved the simple art, it brought a lot to the story!
