Story about a man looking for a job as a sex worker and a porn star director with a rather cinematographic art style and just the right pacing. Some problematic conflict occurs but they’re all handled with good care and importance. One of the best stories I’ve read.
A bitch cried.
Art is a bit old, but don’t let it distract you. The story creeps up on you when you least expect it. An office romance between an older, ‘straight’ man and a quiet, gay man who just transferred. The manga has its fair share of good times, sweet times, and ugly crying times. It’s done very delicately. I don’t care about the second couple but the first couple deserve all the happiness.
Kind of gives Oikawa and Iwaizumi vibes. It’s one of the shorter, softer reads. A straight office man who likes sex and a gay bartender who hides with sex. And the behind the scenes are also really cute.
Rating: 4/5
Rita is sent to the snowy mountains as the next dragon bride. The art for this makes me grateful that I have eyes, it’s so damn cinematic and captures the essence of loneliness and tenderness so well. This story is soft, tender, and warm despite the cold setting.
College students! Musicians! Uke is so pretty that he gives seme a whole bi crisis. It’s really cute.
Enemies to Lovers, sorta. Coworkers learning to redirect their frustrations into sex
Rating: 4.5/5
First novel I actually read. Slow burn, no smut until a few hundred chapters in, but worth it.
