everyone here is lowkey insane, MC not excluded. i LOVE the MC and her brothers individually, and their relationship isn't just portrayed from MC's, it's also like you see the brothers' relationship with each other and i HATE it when siblings in these stories pretend like everyone's related to the girl and not each other for the reverse harem effect. also, all the siblings feel like real siblings, you know.
not only do i love the art and the world setting of this (like the undertone of the supernatural), but i just think their dynamic is really funny in the baffling way of "he's my older brother, but he's literally a newborn who's been introduced into the concept of technology"
the brother and sister duo in this is fucking hilarious. especially as a trio with their childhood friend, it's like ?! damn they really not only feel like legitimate siblings, but it's very nostalgic since it's like they're this close even after growing up and having their own individual relationships outside of them.
yotsuba might as well be the neighbor's adopted little sister by this point. listen, that family is so fucking cute RIP
it feels weird because MC's relationships with "his" brothers feels like friendship, since i guess he's not really their brothers, and that makes me kinda sad for the bros u know. though i will say, i'm pretty attached to their development, that's why im sorta like !!!
EDIT: nah you see how mc becomes REAL brothers with them even though they're not blood-related. he doesn't neglect his original familial relationships, either. i like it!
oh god and it's even better that the brother is lowkey a complete loser LMAO like damn they're really just real children.
a MASSIVE age gap between the step-siblings, and the story revolves around how they bridge that and find commonalities when they not only have very different personalities, but different lives! AND IT REVOLVES AROUND FOOD AND MAKING PSEUDO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS SO THEY CAN BOTH ENJOY IT AND IT'S SO CUTE
bro i genuinely want a little sister after this. also the way everyone in this story who has siblings, have a very realistic portrayal is hilarious RIP.
love how his entire family's sibling dynamics are only maintained because the 2nd brother, who has the personality of an opportunistic omnivorous horse that is grazing on the innards of a chicken, who can and will typecast all of his siblings' myer-briggs type as PTSD
it's less of a sibling relationship, and community. you'll see. but he does develop a pretty solid brotherly relationship with this older actress, as well as a bond between this other dude who he fed rice and gave a bed to. everywhere MC goes you see how he develops a new, very intimate yet casual tie with people that are irreplacable, even if they're not constantly reoccurring.
