Tries very hard to be KS level edgy with a “thrilling” plot and SA scenes but romance feels cute in an out of character kind of way. S1 wasn’t bad and the dynamic was actually cute—they banter a lot and have good chemistry. But S2 gets worse and the artist goes overboard with the effects which makes the art look ugly. Plot also takes a turn for the worst.

It’s gross how their first time was with the kid sleeping NEXT TO THEM wtf. It’s your typical toxic yaoi combo: using threat of r*pe as plot device, fast pacing, forceful relationship, etc. Uke really doesn’t learn anything when he ends up with the yakuza who he knows for like 2 days. He didn’t learn from his first relationship and it’s even more dangerous that he kept getting involved with the yakuza when he didn’t even have to.
