%~ - really moving. A serious, impactful one-shot story. Almost made me cry. One of the creator's other works is Chainsaw man (which is placed later on this list and is currently very popular).
%%%!! - wickedly sharp, oddly clumsy protagonist who gets caught up in various mysteries. Really good, but there's a hefty chunk of dialogue/reading. Worth it though and I even felt like I learnt a thing or two about Kanji. Also, each mystery is like it's own unit, so reading this unfinished work will feel more satisfying than others, if that's what's putting you off.
%%%π!!~ - deals with some pretty heavy topics but it's a very good read. I love the way the author reveals crumbs of information as the story progresses and the art is so unique! It made me cry, for the record.
%!!!!π~ - Really cute.
#$π - nice character growth pacing and no unnecessary sub plots. A mild natured protagonist on a path to greatness!
##$ - this one's in here for it's comparatively deep character building and the presence of dragons. It's art is pretty dazzling too.
This story is a breath of fresh air. The mc has a practical, mature outlook on life that sets a warm and comfortable tone. Magically cozy
πππ$ - Really pure. All of the characters deserve the world! The art style is simple (in its use of backgrounds specifically) yet powerful. This is another magic school manhwa, however it focuses on external happenings more than the schooling aspect.
##(π)$ - A story that follows a protagonist of many faces as he navigates the life of a professor while dodging a whole buncha stuff. Yup, a fun read.
##%ππ~ - Has an apocalypse feel to the setting based on the stakes of the story (saving the world). Kinda reminds me of Ender's Game in how the kids are trained (with little regard for ethics) and how exceptional the protagonist is. If you enjoyed that book/movie you'll probably like this.
