pretty sure this is my favourite Manhwa of all time. Definitely edging the realm of tradgedy but with an insanely addictive plot and wicked-cool protagonist + complex supporting cast who all have their own stories addressed. It's incredibly written and the art is fucking phenomenal.
The first story to give me a stitch from laughing AND make me bawl my eyes out onto the floor- ugly crying. Just.. read it..
The concept of werewolves is pretty common in media but the way it's used in this story is so unique. A few other points; the world building cuts no corners, the art is STUNNING and even the humour hits. Absolutely every single character (human form) in this goddamn Manhwa is a crazy level of attractive. Reading this gave me a heartattack just about every 30 seconds.
(?) This melted my brain into a miserable little pile of goo. You know a story is good when it leaves you feeling deeply empty and alone. The most growth and change in a protagonist I have ever seen. One of the strangest and most beautiful things I have ever read.
This one is really special. Every single word, moment and character in this story feels so essential and carefully planned. It actually made me think with my little pea brain as I'm watching the protagonist attempt to avenge his brother. Kept me on my toes the whole time. The artists use of panels was really unique too, with weird angles, weapons slicing through some and all sorts of things breaking out of others. A little heavy on the exposition sometimes, but IMO it is worth it
Great writing, packed with mystery and a wicked-smart protagonist. You can't help but be on her side. Incredible. The anime is awesome too; really captures the tone of the manga
crazy good character writing and the plotline is so interesting. I love a badass, morally grey mc.
Unique storytelling and aesthetically breathtaking. Unlike anything else I've read on here, with an interesting plot centred around colonisation and on the clash of different religions as a result. Plus, the art is wicked. I have no clue how it's so consistently good, including the bloody fight scenes. I've never seen gore so pretty in my life. The protagonist is one of those effortless leaders, in an anti-hero kinda way. A must read.
Deals with some really heavy topics. I love the way the author reveals crumbs of information as the various stories progress and weave into each other. And the art is so unique! It made me cry, for the record.
A seriously addictive story with high stakes and an entertaining protagonist; I couldn't put it down. Follows newbies to the Korean entertainment industry as they compete in survival show. I don't know how many times I've re-read this; a guilty pleasure.
