( wings maybe?) simple story and due to that, simple characters but this is all the story needs to be good. I love this art style to pieces too; it feels so warm and comfortable.
can be intense at times and the story covers some very heavy topics like sex work and suicidal ideations. The characters both complement each other's weaknesses in a way that makes you want to root for them, despite the things they may have done in their past. Generally a good read but be pre-warned
This story feels very human. Distinct, interesting characters, a unique art style, realistic conflict. It feels special and not mass produced like some plots and that made it very refreshing to read
I love this author; a mutual and long-lasting love between a Yakuza member and a now-lawyer
simple concept but the characters are all interesting in their own way, even if they can be two-dimensional sometimes. Also, the art-style and character design really stands out from other comics like this!
our mc was struggling to maintain his status quo working his ass off until he witnesses a murder scene and is now in the run from the murderer. High stakes, strong feelings? I love this author but the tone and pacing of this one felt a bit strange
Really interesting concept and art style. Killer x actor
There's a large chunk of trauma placed on a character and I don't believe it's addressed super realistically.. but the story was interesting and the dynamic of the two characters is sweet. The art is dazzling too.
there is an age gap here but I believe it's respectful. Stunning art, bookshop setting, trauma is addressed. Cop x criminal
Ridiculous, but in the way you can't help but fall in love with. The two characters are surface level but you don't end up caring. The storyline is nonsense but it doesn't matter. Wholesome as hell
