The original novel is freaking great (it's by the danmei goddess WuZhe herself, i'm begging you to please PLEASE read the novel you won't regret it). It touches on the subject of mental health and what it is like to live with it. I'm not going to drop it, but tbh i wish the art and panelling were better bc rn it's kinda hard to read.

A bear-like softie farmer and a prince-like city guy met in the countryside. A heartwarming story about acknowledging the bad and the good in your life, and having the courage to choose what's best. Also, both of the MCs belong in my pocket!

Oh man, what a heartache. Reading this made me want to get into someone's arms and cry for a good while. The writing is beautiful, and the illustration is out of this world. I desperately wanted this to be a happy ending, and it is, but even if it was't, it still would have been a great and memorable read.

I've read dozens of mangas with this exact dynamic and fall in love with every one of them every single time because honestly, this found family trope is god tier. Adorable, heartwarming, ML is pushy but i still can't hate him, and no unnecessary drama.
