Work that I have found sublime. As a writer, I am not easily impressed by many works and have found that these are a list of mangas that have impressed me to my core. Some of these have even left me bawling for hours. I don't necessarily mean that I like the storyline or characters of all these mangas, but I feel they are well-written.
A gorgeously rendered love story that is brutally tragic. The Republic of China era (1912-1949), an opera singer and his husband, who has amnesia and was a spy. What the opera singer (who ran into trouble himself) will do for the one he loves. Bawled my eyes out.
