genuinely romantic

it's a parody but I just needed it to be funny, why is it so adorable and sweet as well!

the plot set-up is typical moronic yaoi logic from yaoi universe, but what interested me most was the heartwarming relationship that develops between the characters when they get comfortable with each other. maybe the mangaka got distracted and let realism seep into their relationship but the manga was that much more sweeter and more authentic for it. their other work is trash.

angst, but it's not toxic. i was nervous about the teacher-student thing but thank lord, the mangaka handles it really well.

the main character is a bit too childish for his age, but that's part of the charm I guess. And I enjoy how they seem to genuinely be good friends and their relationship develops from that. Their relationship is fun and cute, and seems entirely plausible.
