I dropped this because I was getting kinda bored; that said, the plot is quite interesting. I'm not yet sure how I feel about the characters though, it seems like there is likely a lot of manipulation happening. This is the reason for its spot on the list at the moment.
I loved where this was going, but it hasn't been updated since Sept. 2023. If it gets updated, I'll move it up the list
I LOVE this story so much, is just not really guideverse, but they do exchange sex for magical energy. It's still worth checking out!
Contains: Rape, Dubcon when not full on rape, kidnapping, clear abuse. Only concession, if you can even call it one, is that the recipient of the abuse clearly enjoys it. That said, that's a whole other bucket of therapy fodder...
I gave it 5 stars because it is just so incredibly compelling and well written, but I just don't vibe with dubcon. I was hooked though, the entire time and even want a spin-off for this of the characters .
