this is genuinely jaw-dropping. you will sob so many fucking times. from the plot to the relationships to the chemistry its all so... good. no character is just a one-off. i also have to give props to the art: there were some chapters with barely any writing, but the art alone feels cinematic. the story feels so personal, almost like a memoir. even the smut made me cry??

why. does. no one. talk. about. this??? such a new take on the yaoi genre, gosh i love it so much. top is head over heals, hot smut, but there's an actual intriguing plot?? all that aside, as a story on it's own regardless of romance, i love it so much. edit: reread and its just as good as I rememberthis will NOT dissapoint.

PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS. this is truly gold. you will cry, so many times. the plot twists are INSANE. if your reading this list, just seriously, read it. zombie take over x extreme angst x reincarnation x the most lovely slow burn. AMAZING.
edit: after a reread, i do wish there was no rape :( non-con for literally no reason. but still, you should really, REALLY read this.

shy uke x gangster but done in the best way possible. i cried SO hard when he confessed all over again. the angst is INSANE before they meet again, but its so lovey dovey near the end. an AMAZING read.

truly overall a joy (and goddamn depressing) read. yohan's character is interesting and his change is grounded and shown, and so is his relationship with jay. one of my favorite bits is near the end, but youll get what i mean when EVERY loose end is tied up nicely ;). an extremely satisfying read with one of the most charming male leads ive ever seen, though it isnt without its flaws. extremley possesive top!

literally on the edge of my seat. plot twists are earned and the cast feels real, relatable, and so human?? not to mention the plot is great, im genuinely intrigued (zombie takeover but done reallyyyyy well). the ML is a hot psycho and the MC is very realistic in his display of morals. romance is slowwww but i'm so sure the payoff is gonna be insane.

the MC is like actually a good person and so is the ML, but apart from that, the plot is INSANE. reminds me a lot of inso's law (great manhua btw!). it's the type of story which presents itself as shallow in its characters but you really do end up feeling for the cast. mc just wants so, so badly to be with the ml. i cried when he was in the rain and confessed. a very, very interesting story done exceptionally well.

despite my ratings above, as a manhua on its own i would give this a 10. it's meant to be a calm, fluffy story, and it's just that yet not boring. it's comedic and sweet and the couple is EVERYTHING. plus the baby's adorable. think of this as a palate cleanser to all the other angst in this list, but seriously it's a great read that warms your heart while not being basic
