FL is stuck as a villainess; but here's the twist, she genuinely WANTS to go home. I can never connect to ANY Isekai's because how can the MC just give up on trying to home? We see Eris genuinely FIGHT to go back home and the complicated relations she has with the "real" FL.
Edit: Reread this for the third time, and I urge you to give this a chance. You will cry. It is single handedly the most well-written isekai I have EVER read.

I will NEVER stop talking about this. The story is so unique unpredictable and so well executed. I won't be giving a synopsis because I strongly urge you to read this on your own, you'll never be bored no matter how long it may be. The ending left me in SHOCK, and even if there is no romance in this, the story more than makes up for it. Its an amazing breath of fresh air.

god damn... i once said this was a light read and it is the FARTHEST thing from that. penelope is an amazing MC and being pushed to the brink was done very well. the story was always good but its another level past 150. (edit: 4 fucking years and the kiss HAPPENED!!!)

so very underrated but absolutely, undeniably, heartbreakingly amazing. this is not a revenge plot at all... its about mag learning to heal and recognize her own faults, context, and when to hold resentment. she is an impeccable character; so is jack, he has an actual personality, goals, and struggles outside of the fl. my favorite thing is the sheer amount of juxtaposition and motifs: the shooting stars, sea, situations, they all show mags change

gosh i love this so so much!! angsty but so light hearted at the same time. characters have so much dimension, i've never seen an ml and fl with this much depth, and the subplots are obvious enough i don't feel lost reading the story. art is absolutely gorgeous and my heart hurts so much for paula

genuinely one of the most unique isekai to come out in a LONG time: this story has a protagonist like no other. at first, i took it for a shallow "trying to ignore the original plot" story but i couldnt be more wrong: the worldbuilding is crazy good, and the FL is one of my favorites of all time. shes not badass, not timid, not super smart, but so down-to-earth and her inner monologues are hilarious.

its sickeningly cliche but not at the same time, and i love it. its an excellent, low-drama love story. often times, despite stories having convoluted, deep plots, they tend to get even the simplest of things wrong: dialogue. but this story has such a way with words. its not outstanding and thats what makes it good. it doesnt try too much, and in turn, you get a very down-to-earth, organic, engaging romance.

a classic for a reason. i have never, ever seen a cast of characters so well-written, deep, and dimensional in this genre. from the moment it ditched the 'ignorant father loves his daughter after being reborn' getup we see not only anastatia, but jennete, her father, claude, lucas as real people each with their own explainable stories and emotions that feel earned through impeccable storytelling. you WILL get shivers.

i can't help but fall in love with the cast, ESPECIALLY ceres because it took 50 whole chapters to see improvement in him. fl doesn't just magically tame him; they have purposeful conversations that aren't just her comforting him but are realistic, clumsy attempts given her position. diarin escapes from the "always gentle saintess" archetype because of her quirks and well-done characterization. you WILL laugh lol

i could go on and on and on but this is a MASTERPIECE. tesslid is an insanely complex dynamic character while aillete being overpowered somehow doesn't feel clunky. outstanding world-building and even more amazing pacing and character development. this is genuinely a masterpiece. pls read this + novel is insane... let this marinate TRUST.
