Koisenu Futari is a J-Drama rather than a manga, but it's really REALLY excellent canon Aroace representation and anyone reading this list needs to watch it! Link goes to the trailer, which doesn't have English subs unfortunately, but still shows you a little preview of the show.
The younger brother in the main cast is canonically aromantic asexual, and he also finds a peripheral character friend who is as well.
The main character is canonically acespec, and one of the side characters is also canonically an asexual lesbian.
A sweet slice of life office coworker story about two arospec adult women who find a deep queerplatonic love growing between each other for the first time in their lives.
The main character of this high school lesbian romcom is likely arospec in some regards, and the story is def arospec-flavored regardless as it strictly explores the blurry & highly subjective boundaries between platonic & romantic relationships and feelings. Does contain a lot of boundary-pushing & some dubiously consensual scenes tho.
Chapter 4.5 has canon aroace representation (since that's what the label asexual indicates in Japan). A lot of the other stories and perspectives in it are aro acespec-adjacent or could be interpreted as such.
The protagonist has no interest in romance at all, and actively attempts to avoid it at all costs. He's very aroace.
It's still ongoing so things may change, but the protag of this historical reincarnation story spent his entire adult life in the modern world wholly uninterested in anything but making stuff, & that's only continued in life 2. He's only getting married due to political pressure, & only visits pleasure houses to scout out secret agents. Attraction is so far off his radar it's on another planet.
I haven't read this myself, but I've heard it said a lot that the protagonist, Puffy, is strongly coded as aroace, to the point that it's all but acknowledged as canon.
If you can find me proof that the protag Haruhi isn't somewhere on the asexual spectrum I'll eat my hat

The two protagonist definitely fall under the aroace umbrella, they have a platonic relationship and live with eo
THANK YOU YOU ARE DOING GOD'S WORK aromantic win!!!! do you think sousuke from skip and loafer would fit in this list? he is very arospec, and only starts to fall for the mc AFTER they break up
I'm just glad my rec list is helpful!! And I haven't read Skip and Loafer yet, but after doing a little research on it & Sousuke specifically I certainly want to read it and don't mind adding it to this list even while I'm working my way through. It sounds like he's pretty solidly an arospec character! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
