Aro/Ace-Spectrum Characters

The protagonist is very aroace-coded, although it's kinda subtle. But he finds it awfully easy to swear off romance for good, and doesn't seem to ever struggle with resisting any feelings or urges beyond growing platonic friendships ijs...Also the world he's in has commonplace queerplatonic poly relationships which is very cool..

There is no allonormative way to explain the main character in this cute, verrry slowburn romcom - he's definitely arospec & acespec. Honestly the portrayal of his (in)experience with relationships & attraction is painfully relatable to me in a lot of ways

The protagonist never really shows attraction to anyone or interest in relationships despite slowly, accidentally collecting a following of beautiful people who admire him. You can't tell me he's not aroace.

The protagonist is canonically confirmed as asexual, and is almost definitely also aromantic. His ex-wife is probably also gray-aroace, since she only experiences romantic love later in life.

The MC in this college romance is probably demiromantic/demisexual, since he doesn't seem to have experienced attraction to anyone before he starts getting into a close relationship with a guy.

In a side story near the end of the story two aroace side characters start fake dating to get people off their backs.

The Male Lead in this is a sex-repulsed demisexual/demiromantic (his one exception is his bf, the protagonist). Also note, the protagonist is clueless about anything queer, and although he tries to understand and works through some of his internalized beliefs, he says some cliche Clueless Allo lines.

One of the characters in the main cast, Park Seung-taek, comes off as somewhere on the asexual spectrum, probably in the realm of demisexual.

The father (one of the 3 main cast members) in this cute, comedic slice of life manga gives big aro/ace-spec vibes. His late wife and him seemed to share the same hyperfixation on BL rather than any obvious attraction. He accidentally starts dating someone and immediately tries to think of how to break up, even though this person looks like his favorite character which is basically the closest he could get to being attractive to him. He seems dead set on avoiding romance or sex.

The main character reads very strongly as an aroace woman who experiences strong aesthetic attraction to her husband and is eventually led to discovering her own kinky side. Anyways she may read as ace but it's still an incredibly smutty story with a surprisingly thorough plot.
