This is the first installment of a great series. I won't add all of them to this list, so I leave this one here as standing in for the rest.
It's a story about a man reluctant to get into a relationship, and yet neither of them questions his sexuality or gets into any annoying drama along the way. It progresses in a refreshing and honest way. (I read chapters 9 - 16 in French.)
After opening a new restaurant, the head chef finds himself saddled with a new regular who turns up to watch him cook. At first he has no idea who the man is, but gradually he learns about the connection between them.
A young waiter picks up an older man who passes out near his apartment. It's their first time officially meeting, but it doesn't take long for them to form a relationship. The plot is fairly standard, but it's presented in a satisfying way, and it's long enough that we get to know the characters pretty well.
I was eating a piece of cake while reading this manga, which might have been a mistake - I'm in sweetness overload.
At the beginning it seemed sort of incoherent, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Everything came together (not least when I figured out which names belonged with which people) and made a really well-done tale. Comedy without being silly, drama without being maudlin. Not too short, not too long, just right to get across what's important.
Chapters 3-5 are a brilliant personification of what happens inside a computer. Maybe. (Chapters 1 and 2 are meh)
A Demon King who's gentle and a Hero who looks like a delinquent, living together. Comedic goodness.
The story that really captured my imagination is the bittersweet love between two close friends who first connected through books. I like that the ending is left ambiguous. The art student falling in love with the transvestite model is also a good one.
As an adult, a son goes to visit his father for the first time since he was young, but his father reacts a bit strangely when he arrives. Throw in a bit of time travel, and you get a great story, worth re-reading.

Thank you for this list, I seem to like the same kinds of yaoi and shounen-ai ^^
You're welcome! I started out making the list just for my own tracking of manga I like, but I"m glad if you find it useful ^_^

i have a question! where did you find chapters 9-16 of fusoku no renjou in french?
It was scanlated by this group: http://www.teamfairyrose.com/projets/seriesfinies/fusoku-no-renjou/
But you have to jump through some hoops to get access to the forum where they post it. Dunno if that helps, but that's where I found it.
