This is a compelling read. It's a story about how just one person can affect someone's life.
One of the most beautiful stories I have read. Truly beautiful, and very dark. The ending is glorious. From the description : Craig has been thinking a lot about death lately. Working thirteen-hour shifts to pay off his father’s insurmountable debt,
taking care of his little brother in between, exasperated and ready to collapse, Craig can’t help but wonder: would it be easier to end it all?
It was just an ordinary day like this when Craig stumbled onto the scene of a bloody murder.
Beautiful, bittersweet story.
Bawled my face off.
The emotional content is high at the end
An inn where people can find what they've lost.
Yup. Buckets, baby!
Oh wow. Need to steel myself to attempt reading this again. So painful. A young man suffers a terrible loss but finds something that connects him to the past and his personal tragedy.
The last chapter. Right in the feels.
This is the story of a young man and his spirit protector. A beautiful, dark story of a different kind of love and protection.
A masterpiece. A freaking masterpiece of emotions and feeling that never veers into diabetic sentimentality or becomes maudlin. Overwhelming in a beautiful way, these are the people I know and love too. The two old men were beautiful and sweet.
The story is about a widower who travels all over Japan as a medicine seller, and his son.
