Harry Potter but funny
It's nice having funny and interesting characters other than the MC. Guarantee you'll like at least one or more. Rare for authors the develop so many characters
A well done "shameless" protag that's very likable. Rare in the genre. Has the usual cliches but hardly ever expos which makes the pacing a little weird imo but it's a great read anyway.
Checks all the boxes without unnecessary plots and drama that drags. Solid read
What a twist from the first chapter alone!! I can't even summarize this without big spoilers. Like mystery? Like action? A true gem is here
This was THE manhwa of my youth. No words necessary
I finished the novel first so I'm waiting for more chapters to binge but the remake is a stunning piece of art in itself!
Each arc is very loosely based off of classic novels and characters like Sherlock or Count of Monte Cristo with an overarching theme of Lovecraftian horror. The slow build of ever present unease and anxiousness is written so tastefully. Honestly one of a kind. But be warned that the author, Cuttlefish, is a sadistic mf who kills off at least one chara per arc
Adding because I'm bias. One of the og Korean isekai and yes, it was sadly dropped it follows more standard RPG formulas than isekais today but I do remember it fell into the pit of increasingly unbelievable progressing battles. When you write a good battle scene that was supposed to be the biggest and greatest that MC ever pushed himself to be, where do you go from there? A lot of action series fall to this
Once again, no need to explain
Art changed halfway and it's become less dynamic and refined. Bothered a lot of ppl but I still find it okay. Wasn't that big a downgrade imo
