I think it was a transmigration. MC gets to the golden dragon's den yrs before it should've been discovered and inherits his magic (there's an expiration date so it was never discovered in the og timeline) ofc he's the last of his kind and his dying wish is to prevent dragon magic from disappearing. MC agrees and works hard making money to build a school of magic. He opens a bank that encourages commoners to deposit. Also introduces checks with a magical stamp revealed only by a lamp artifact so when the rival bank funded by an evil duke copies his system, he gets scammed by thieves.
Iirc he also picks up 2 allies, one a framed duke heir whose family was wrongly executed for treason all bc he was close to the puppet prince and an exiled cat beastman prince running from his brother. I've been searching for days pls help!
