Rather then the usual FL who suddenly remembers and identifies as her past self, FL is just a baby fox spirit who happens to have memories of her past life. She can't and doesn't even bother resisting her fox urges like frolicking in the snow, looking at fish, getting zoomies, etc. It's just that kind of cute story

When a looks like a cinnamon bun, is a cinnamon bun meets a looks like could k*ll you, is a cinnamon bun!! Very wholesome and reminds me a lot of Hibi Chouchou. Unfortunately, most side characters (pretty much all the students) are downright unlikable here. Still the main duo are pure precious babies and need to be together forever for my sanity!
