S1's art was beautiful but the storytelling was perfect--focusing on building characters: core belief, strengths, banter, challenges, learning magic along w Shirone and his classmates
S2's art is a downgrade w it's line weight, colors, expressiveness, and character understanding, as well as the storytelling being dog shit that's just a mush of 5 different story perspectives
Content changed directions to forced love & friendship and hurting girls to uplift Shirone..??!
The whole story right before Fushi brought everyone to the future was great
The modern era however, lacks the charm that the original has
Fushi getting close to Mizuha, this whole intergrating with school is weird...I'd rather they all just live happily together and hanging out together. Learning from each other. Growing up with each other. That's what I wanted. Not more Nokkers that are implanted in almost every human beings and they flip the switch whenever, or pedo related topics
I loved when it centered around the father-daughter relationship n Tia being adorable n smart. However, as she grew older, she became less cute n her father shows up less. The focus on royals, political struggles, n jealousy is boring. Despite hinting towards romance route, I couldn't care less abt their "development" n nonromantic n boring interactions. This story has lost the immersion n I couldn't connect w others deeply. n the dialogues' poor :(
decently fun at the beginning, but it became nothing more than throwing a toxic, petty party, throwing insults at each other with flowery words. There's nothing grand that this story is trying to achieve. dropping
I enjoy the anime n came to read it
however, when he got overly powerful and assisted the elves, the story went downhill from there
I should've stopped at ch 41
What I loved most about this story was his time with his family and when he had fun experimenting with his card combos
in the end, everything felt meaningless, repetitive, and boring
like, "just leave it to me!" spams his summons at the enemies, the end.
overpowered MCs are sadly boring w/out smth to balance it out
it's becoming trash
what is the author thinking? the evolution of how they write women is appalling
there's this trope I'm noticing in a few stories that introduce beast women to only make them be infatuated with the strooong mc and nothing else
The beg. was cute n lovely
but the more it continued, the more I disliked it
Everything comes easy for her. show a bit of kindness, generosity or cuteness just wins everyone's heart so easily. But the sinister thing I dislike more is the fact that none of the connections she made was pure. she always wanted smth from others and to use them
= ingenuine, nothing was genuine, all fake
+ no explanation abt her actions + she has vague novel knowledge
feels like reading air
Infinite Mage
