my yuri archive (not necessarily recommendations)

2/5 im done with mild manga that yuribaits only bc the author is too scared of making girls do anything romantical EVER so all we get are stares and "my heart is beating" or some metaphysical shit like that im so done get me manga of girls actually being in love not girls have a crush and maybe it's reciprocated maybe!

4/5 this could easily be a 5/5 if they had more romantical moments between the leads... i love mermaids i think they are so fun and magical so i didn't need a lot to love this but it delivered even more! a feminist narrative that explores the way abuse can change the way you engage with the world... peak. i had some issues ofc nothing is perfect but this is pretty good. sometimes the art is a bit inconsistent also but yeah love

4/5 just such a cute little manga omgg i've seen some buzz online about this and i'm glad ppl are talking about it! it's super cute while being comedic and a bit dramatic! it's deff a good meal for all himes out there

3/5 i really like josei yuri i feel like they have a very engaging character focused story and this author constantly cooks w/ what they put out. however this is the weakest link </3 it's good don't get me wrong but it needed more time to be sold as a romance ya know. i like that it explores comphet and how it affects the mc but also i feel like it didn't give us much time with the other woman to make a romance between them actually believable... i just needed more

3/5 shoujo-esque yuri my beloved... this one drips with y2k vibes and it's so campy aswell. the main couple is so cute like i just love them they are awkward and kinda stupid and i have a soft spot for dummies in love!! what took points away is that i need to ask why. why did we need a predator in this. why is an adult woman constantly talking about deflowering teen girls like get me outta here man

1/5 droppedddd it just reeks of fetish content. from the art to the story. literally netsuzuo trap but worse somehow

3/5 has some pretty interesting themes and honestly has a bit of that toxic yuri edge (not by a lot) which is good but also what made it more mid to me.. i wish we explored that a bit further. if i could i would remove the one mystery(?) plot (iykyk) and just focus on the messy nature of their relationship, i felt like i needed that a bit more

3/5 i wish i could give this one more stars but unfortunately it will be forever the potential man of yuri. it starts off so good and the dynamic between the characters is super interesting... than it just. has a random time skip? and the story has some non-linear chapters that just make everything more confusing... i wish we got a more complete and normal story because i really digged the vibe, the characters, the art and the comedy!

3/5 this manga inspired a bunch of revenge stories and it has yuri elements! yuki herself is almost confirmed to be a lesbian. she only has sex with women and really only connected with one other woman. is it heavily sexualized and fetichized? yeah. but is she a badass through and through? 100%. there is one evil chapter that made my skin crawl in which a man overpowers her and it just ends really abruptly and in a terrifying note like he was going to assault her.. why was that written?

cancelled... had so much potential too omfgg apparently it's based on a novel so i would love it if there was a translation cuz im very interested in this it seems genuinely fun
