Juvenile delinquency, the flaws of the reformatory prison system, the true meaning of friendship and solidarity. This is a master-piece from ABE George who presented along with Masasumi Kakizaki a wonderful saga about young men who try to find salvation amid a wrecked society and corrupt men and women.
What demons were loose inside of Ryo Narushima's mind when this 16-year-old guy decided to attack both of his parents with a knife? Why would someone who had all the chances to become an elite in society commit this horrible crime? And how is he going to survive his time in jail? Indeed this is a riveting story which will probably make you glued to your screen!
I don't know how to describe this one ... camaraderie amongst adult men? The ordeals of trying to survive in a society where the color of your skin (black) is feared? Both themes are definitely present and this is one of the few mangas where the issue of racism has been actually tackled. It is definitely worth the while for the enlightened minds that is.
