Amnesia fic, plays with POV, blown away by how hot yet sweet and humorous this is. Fuji struggles to come to terms with his love for Kotou, who prefers to let things transpire naturally with no prompting, no matter what the emotional cost to him. A sweet and sexy romance, which satisfies that small place of insecurity which might reside in the heart of anyone who reached out first in love
Yes
sad but true - my second fave piece from yoneda kou is also a one shot - it just preserves her style so well while delivering something funny and sweet. the use of POV still feels just as clever as the first time
Have the physical copy of this, and there a colour pages, SUCK IT @digital manga publishing you can't keep me down! the gay agenda wins in the end
my pick for spiritual successor of killing stalking
edit: has kind of devolved into stockholm syndrome apologists with no foreseeable character development. but the art. and that reverse special! 3/5
captures the spirit of romance, like yearning for the stars
Don't care, still love hideyoshico after all these years.
Hideyoshiko's stories are quiet and calm, with nothing extreme ever happening, but they work like a slow boil to passion. They move slowly and carefully, but are rewarding and realistic.
Her talent to make everyday relationships lyrical and magical and relatable all at the same time
Calm, silent, nostalgic, bittersweet... there is a unique air in the storyline and the art too
underrated
I'm a sucker for fairy tale retellings and though this collection has its hits and misses, it's consistently smutty and when it lands its jokes, it can be laugh-out-loud funny
love the dp fan translation so much ugh, wish the english licensed version had color pages...UGH I love Saezuru but I still question how sizable the audience is who reads it primarily for the yakuza plot and not this riveting story of coping with trauma w just about the most compelling mc around
There is no work in this genre that has as strong a hold on me:
People are full of contradictions.
They're lonely, and then they're not.
They're missed, and then they're not.
very valuable, and happy to get a les memoir comic not by alison bechdel (bless her heart but it's not relatable)
licensed
cured my depression
the official translation rocks
