A story I read almost 10 years ago and still vaguely remember. There was a toxic relationship (uke treating seme poorly) and family drama. Both are in high school. Uke is something of a damaged delinquent and acts out. After a lot of drama and angst, the couple finally escape together but in the process the uke steps on a rusted nail, gets tetanus, becomes delirious, and dies or almost dies. I've had an inside joke with myself about tetanus booster shots ever after reading this, but have never since been able to find this series. Has anyone else read this?
