Thoughts : I hated the violence but I understand what actions made it possible. I don't condone the violence, but I have found myself in a somewhat similar situation where I found out that my partner had cheated and had spent six months not being truthful. Yes, things flew but neither of us would have laid an unwanted finger on each other. I liked that they began communication, but I wish that they had talked before. Familiarity does indeed breed contempt, but it's what you make of it
