A story about a boy who had a cross-dressing habit, and another boy who found it strangely attractive. It's definitely an experimental manga with a lot of eccentricities with the characters. However, like every Hideyoshico work, it's witty, funny and totally refreshing. Did I mention it was so good, they're turning it into a movie?
This is a manga about a guy who fell for his homophobic senpai. The senpai, for the rest of the 73 chapters, struggles with transgressing his current sexuality as little by little, he starts to feel something for him. I had a lot of issues with the manga and the scanlation. It isn't a perfectly excellent manga, and its a bit too shoujo, but it's something that made me swoon at every chapter. It also tackled the topic about stigmas and insecurities that come with becoming gay.
There are some traces of the shoujo dynamic between the characters here. The plot didn't blow me away (but the love-making scenes did). However, I did think Motoharu and Kouta's relationship was very swoon-worthy. It'll make you laugh and make your chest tighten. At the end of the day, I totally fell for this manga. And damn...Motoharu is seriously the sexiest megane I have ever seen.
Warning! Father and son incest. By the end of the last chapter, you'll be surprised how much it didn't disgust you. That's how good it is.
A collection of stories with a gentle and understated romance. This one is pretty deep. Aoi Aki uses a lot of metaphors in both her art and dialogue, especially using nature imagery, to give the characters and their relationships some poetry in them. Truly a commendable piece of work.
