nishida higashi's works are hit or miss for me (well, mostly hit tho..) but this is definitely one of her best. In a way this is about performative masculinity, loneliness, wanting to be loved, wanting to love. Very sweet story about two older masculine men with a more nefarious life than they wish.

I have to say I was quite surprised with how new this was. The drawings have that old school feel and the plot does too a bit. Very funny story about two boys having lewd thoughts in the peak of their adolescence. Also there's a weird nipple trope going on... which is some sort of yaoi sub genre by now lololol
I mean pretty much an all star manhwa webtoon. Sexy scenes, super wholesome relationship, the couple has great vibes, THEY ARE SWITCHES!!!!!! (or seke as we call them in yaoi, though you rarely see the term BECAUSE IT DOESNT FUCKING HAPPEN MUCH), minimum drama and a realistic plot. All in all great story!!!!!
i guess this is more of a dark entry with subjects such as depression, self harm and the mc being a shut in, but the relationship is in a way wholesome. reminded me a bit of the old shoujo manga Mars. Not for the plot, more for the vibes between Rei and Kira and these two. Well if ya know ya know
main story is rape free, last chapter almost went into suscon territory but they smoothed over pretty nicely. Extra story got a dubious start but eeeeeh I'll chuck it up to angst. Important is the main story is cool tho
the biggest piece of fiction in this manga is that the main characters are a stylist and a hairdresser and they somehow both managed to be "straight" I don't wanna hear it don't come for me THIS IS A FANTASY I TELL YOU
