KUNIEDA SAIKA. I admit, her art wasn't my favorite at first (those chiseled jaws, meh), but it grew on me with her great stories, and now I love it. This is one of many of my fave manga by her.
HARADA. I'm new to this artist, but the manga here is adorable and hilarious. The rest of her stuff is super screwed up and disturbing, so it's an interesting mix. Either way, I like the art, and the concepts are fascinating, even when they're disturbing. I love her stuff. One of the only authors where I read her fandom work, too. I'm not even part of the fandom, I just adore her.
ETA: The more I've read, the more I love her. Twisted in all the right ways.
MIYAMOTO KANO. I love her. She's the goddess of manga. Gorgeous art, amazing storylines. Her stuff was incredibly popular back in the glory days of yaoi, but now there haven't been any scans of her stuff in years, which is sad.
TAKASHIMA KAZUSA. I absolutely adore her stories and her art, so I'm heartbroken that she's mostly given up drawing. I hope she comes back someday and finishes Last Client!
SHOOWA. I'd been meaning to read Shoowa's stuff for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did. Her stories are so emotional & painful, but she manages to wrap them up in a heartwarming way, without undoing everything that happened up to that point. Shoowa is an amazing artist, and she has a talent for subtle melancholy. I feel so much from a character's simple glance. A single panel can bring me to tears. She expresses so much with so little, all with gorgeous art to boot.
KURAKA SUI. This is all that's available so far, but I loved it so much, I can't wait to see more from the author.
PSYCHE DELICO. Another sort of twisted artist, but I'm a fan of how she made the threeway relationship work here, even if it was sad and kind of screwed up at points.
AKABEKO. She only has two things on here, and neither is complete, but I adore what I've seen. She really taps into this beautiful sadness without being dismal for no reason. It all feels realistic (for yaoi), and she doesn't ignore how horrible things are, like rape. There's a lot going on in this manga in particular, and I'm dying to see what happens. Great art, great story, great main pair.
MOCHINO KOME. Only two available from her so far, but I loved them both, especially this one! I don't have words for all of the reasons this manga is perfect, but I'm itching for more translations of her work soon. Really eager for that spin off with the ex.
FUUKI MAME. I've been adding a lot of artists who don't have much work on here lately. I just love what I have read so much, that I want to remember to look again and see what else they create. Hopefully they won't let me down! Beautiful art, sweet and touching stories. I love the emotional but happy elements to her work.
