He said he wasn't interested in the girls his age (physically). he said it would be weird. He's mentally alot older than his actual body.
It was when he was still a baby actually, with some time I think he really got used to "the new body" and it's age.

i dont ship anyone yet cause art said he didn't feel attracted to any girls at some point in the comic (tho he didn't say anything about being attracted to boys hehe) so I dont want the girls to be friendzoned :)
