Does anyone notice how the antagonists are mostly drawn to look unattractive?
First it’s the tutor with the freckles and hook nose, then the Briesels with the sanpaku eyes, now it’s the old guy trying to kidnap Calliope. Even Cretiane is in a similar case, because she looks more disheveled compared to the other kids. The only exception is the king, but he’s Asterias’ (ML) uncle so of course he’s going to be handsome.
They’re bad people regardless of appearance, but I find it sus how all the people supporting Calliope just happen to be considered beautiful in the story while the people against her just happen to be considered “ugly” to a majority :/ It’s like there’s only one major threat to her
