musician bl

there was this bl awhile ago but dropped it because i knew it was gonna be sad but i cant remember what the name is and i want to read it again now. im sorry I'm bad at explaining but what I remember is that the story starts off in the present with a teen boy who is visiting his grandpa in the hospital because his grandpa is sick. I think he was going through his grandpas stuff and found pictures of his grandpa and this other boy from when the grandpa was young. I remember him asking his grandpa about the pics and that's when the story goes into the past and the grandpa tells the story of that boy in the picture or something. The grandpa was a musician and wanted to start a band with the boy and I remember something about him getting a gig at a bar and that's where he meets the boy. anyways if this sounds familiar and you know the name of the bl, thank you!
