I always get a bit frustrated when people try and lecture someone who has been wronged and is in the process of getting revenge, saying things like "she's trying to make amends" and "you've got to end the cycle of hatred." Like, technically speaking, they have a point, but who the fuck are you to decide its the wronged person's job to be forgiving? You didn't get your whole life destroyed. It feels very holier-than-thou.
