So, to get it straight, the weilders of the sword are able to literally hear her scream and beg for years and actively choose to ignore it? I mean, plot aside, that would drive a person mad, no? To hear such anguish constantly for years that no one else can hear. If that is the case, that really does solidify the plot for me and I hope there's uncalled for destruction before the inevitable redemption arc.
