I just fr thought that it was stupid for the second bro to accuse penelope for somehow coercing the duke to adopt her, knowing what kind of person his father is, and holding onto that mentality even after he grew up ://. Honestly, I have the same sentiment. However, he's far from redeeming himself since he's still a little piece of shit. But he is progressing, as far as character development goes. And yeah, I read the novel so.
Down vote now because I know you’ll want to but... I’m sorry, I know her “family” is shit and everyone was so terrible to her until now, but I really love the second brother. I don’t wanna say I ship him with Penelope because abuse and stepbrother don’t go with love, but I really do like him as a character. He’s getting development everyone. He’s finally feeling bad for his piece of shit ways and understanding her side. He feels sorry and I know for some of y’all that isn’t enough, but I’m forgiving af and I like him. Sorry lol
