Um, not sure if I understand your wording. But a “rut” is a period of time in which an alpha experiences extreme sexual behavior and instincts. It is similar to an animal’s sexual heat because the alpha’s usually, in most cases, lose control of themselves. They can’t process things correctly and most decisions are impulsive and without moral reasons.
Before or during a rut, the individual can use repressors that inhibit the overall rut symptoms and avoid it/control it.
Some people are probably thinking that Keith went on “vacation/business trip” due to his rut because he has been unable to relieve his sexual desires since 1) he has been marked by Yeonwoo and 2) Yeonwoo can’t sexually engage with him. It’s not that Yeonwoo is physically/emotionally unable to...I mean, he’s hurt and still in the hospital...but Keith does have the ability to force his rut into Yeonwoo if he truly couldn’t hold himself back...but since I have more than an inkling that Keith does love Yeonwoo in some way, Keith went on a trip to save himself and save Yeonwoo before he ultimately makes another mistake.
