It is odd that the others didn’t comfort Stefan or at least say something like “sorry you had to go through that”. Maybe it’s cause Charlotte was impacted the most because she witnessed both her closest friends about to die, thinking it is all her fault.

About Rand, I think it’s realistic that he didn’t just hug Stefan or say words of comfort to him, because remember—Rand’s family doesn’t know they reconciled and are together. Also Stefan himself said something like “It’s too soon for us to tell your family” to Rand, so maybe Rand was respecting Stefan’s wishes for secrecy.

You can’t just expect someone who was your enemies for ten years to suddenly hug you and say words of comfort (fiction yes but not this fiction).

Both Stefan and Rand just RECENTLY RECONCILED, they aren’t exclusive yet / understanding of each other enough. Stefan himself was worried about starting a family with Rand, he has his own worries, it’d be bad if you just told your family you’re with Stefan because Stefan himself isn’t sure. And he isn’t ready to tell Charlotte, his BEST FRIEND, yet.

For ME, it’d be awkward for me to find out my best friend has been dating my older brother this whole time, so give them time.

I’m sure Charlotte and Rand will check up on Stefan, I’m hoping Charlotte first because both of them need to talk as they are the closest. I hope Stefan will share his worries, it’s not easy going through that traumatic incident and having other issues on top of that.
