I can’t tell you how to feel but ima tell you my thoughts... personally I still think he’s a douche since if you remember a few chapters ago when the family first found out Tia met the Duke, Lawrence was all like “she’s finally been useful”, meaning he’s thought of her as useless this whole time and has only been waiting to use her. Also him ignoring the abuse she’s gone through only proves how little he cares for his own sister, even if she’s his half sis it’s still not right... he’s clearly never thought of her as family and has only been waiting to use and dispose of her, maybe not to the extent of the previous time but that was only because she did a lot of bad things to get him to that position so she also was a weakness for him since she knew too much. But no doubt his early thoughts of her suggested he already had plans to just use her to get to the emperors seat for his own selfish reasons... anyway they’re jus my thoughts
Sorry just to add... he may change when he realises he won’t get anywhere on his own, at this point he hasn’t been able to use Tia as he did previously so he still doesn’t know the true extent of “losing” her since this time around he doesn’t “have” her yet. Maybe he’ll realise his efforts are futile, maybe he’ll become the adopted son of the empress and she could somehow reform him idk. But one thing is for sure, currently he’s still delusional just like his mother so if someone doesn’t come and remove his mother from his side or reform him separately then he’s got no hope... personally I hope he could change but I just don’t know, I still think the Duke will be the one on the throne at the end...
Why hate him? He only plans on using the shit out of Tia to then dispose of her in the most inhumane way possible...
Plus it's not like he tortured her in their previous life right?
