Seriously F*cked up. It annoys me when manga just plays off rape like a joke. Most of this manga is the uke trying to recover from his trauma of being imprisoned and raped, yet the seme, who is a selfish jerk, rapes him humiliates him and emotionally wounds him at every turn. I really hate how the mangaka trys to play off their twisted relationship as a joke. I don't mind BDSM but this is hardcore sh*t that trys to be about love? Really? Because I don't see any love between these two.

lol I love how you basically summarized the plot but made it sound like the worse thing ever. This is why context is key. Everyone sees things differently, it's not right to blindly follow one person's interpretation. For those wondering, no the story is not that bad. It's a light hearted rump between between two idiotic sadomasochists. The "selfish jerk" was the type of person who would rather help their lover heal from their trauma, instead of stepping around it and always have it intrude on their relationship. The uke was not only traumatized from the rape and imprisonment, but also from the death of his rapist. To his delicate mind, the rapist was someone he loved who abandoned him. That's why he pushed the seme away, not because of the rough sex, but because he didn't want to lose someone he loved again. If the seme hadn't pushed himself into his life, and proved that he was not going to abandon him, they would not have been able to progress. The seme was willing to wear chains when he learned that the uke was nervous having sex without it. When it became apparent that that wasn't enough, he tried a different approach. Some people need space when they're going through stuff and some people need their loved ones closer to them. Was the rape situation handled well in this story? Nope. But it's good for what it is. The mangaka wanted to keep a positive atmosphere and that's what we got.
