I agree I have no idea why they dislike Tess, she just acts like a girl her age and she is actually pretty strong, there is a reason why she fainted here...
lol I know right? Everyone hates on her cuz she's 12 and she has a crush. And people saying "Oh ShE's 12 ThAt'S nOt An ExCuSe!" Like bro just admit ya never had a crush when u were younger and u don't know what it's like. Also she's pretty fucking strong and can hold her own. From what I read in other comics rn she fainted or ran out of mana or smth partially cuz of Art, but I guess we'll live and we'll see ╮(￣▽￣)╭
100% this, elijah can be annoying and clingy to Art, and pushy towards other girls because of his crushes but its never a problem but when Tess shows an INCH of personality everyone brings up shit from the novel and how they can't stand her.

Lol same I was annoying as hell in middle school. And yeah Elijah and many of the adults in this story have their times where they can come across as pushy as hell lol I believe it's the normalization of hating women in anime and web-comics tbh
Y'all are so pressed about things Tess has yet to do in the COMIC. Like theres more hate towards her than our current antagonist, yall are really mad she was about to get burnt up rather than being mad about Lucas going out of control.
seek help, if you hate women just say that. she hasn't shown any annoying tendencies, can hold her own in a fight, and is intelligent enough to have a prestigious role along with being in line for succession and having to display neutral behavior even when she see's her friends being bullied bc of a pact between countries as a CHILD so for the love of god stop hate reading if you dislike it so much.
Edit: to add I want to put emphasis on the fact that she has yet to do anything warranting any hate in the COMIC, if you're mad about things that happened in the novel keep it to yourself and stop spoiling the comment section
