I loved the plot at the beginning, but I really don’t get where this is going with the past lives, Princess and the ML. She seemed to completely forget about the slum children who died trying to get their hands on the fabricated jewel, and the little girl who survived and was being raised by the count wasn’t even mentioned until the last few chapters. She could’ve negotiated terms on seeing her/receiving updates on her well-being, but she just seemed to blindly follow his orders and forget about her. I think she might have even been able to rescue her because she was said to have unparalleled strength, and yet she didn’t even try? I found the whole thing really strange. There are a lot of plot holes here and I really didn’t like the lovesick route the story went down. I don’t think the god’s child idea nor the princess parts fit in at all. I’m just disappointed in the whole thing, really.
