Honestly the most angsty story i’ve ever read i also like the concept and theme probly even more than legendary grandmaster’s wife. T^T it was so difficult to find a good english translation of the novel tho. The most decent one is still ard ch150 so I have to scavenge each chapter.

Sooooooo Mo Ran turned out to be a buttefly bone beauty beast. A rare one at that. What i dun get is —> was it from his mom’s side? Tbh, a nan gong having the genes of BBBB isnt plausible. So i’m thinking his mom’s ancestors probly were the beasts or their blood and it manifested in Mo Ran? Or if his mom was a bbbb then how could she have hidden it tho.
