He is very dumb in a lovable way that is unlike 99% of stories. His idiocy doesn't land him in danger all the time which is the good part. You know those annoying stories where the person is so dumb they need rescuing 24/7? This isn't one of those. He is not smart and severely lacks common sense but he somehow doesn't die not is he a damsel in distress. Of course, he gets help a lot but more in a friendly way or when he takes on too much and to highlights how well he gets along with others rather then how weak he is. Basically, I suggest you try reading this or watch the anime and if by the end of season 1 you aren't sold on it, drop it since that's the general vibe of the whole thing
His character is a little more realistic than most other shonen manga MC's, what mostly goes on is him finding out what it truly feels like to be loved and him learning a little more about his true self and you follow him on his little adventures, its a really fun little story definitely would recommend. (also the harvest festival arc is most definitely one of my favorites).

Is the mc tolerable? I’ve heard he’s a bit dumb, is he like naive or super into justice? I don’t really like mc’s that are oblivious or meatheads.
