No because honestly Helena has absolutely no excuse to keep being naive. With constant feedback from eris, about etiquette, the ways of the nobles, etc., you would think she'd try to understand her "best friend's" advice and worries, but she always ignores whatever eris says and feels, instead always leaning towards decisions that benefit herself. She has never once cared about anything that doesn't benefit her, and it shows in her Apology. Because if she actually realized that what had occurred that day was completely her fault, she would have realized and acknowledged that an apology could never be enough. I get that she has that "innocence" halo surrounding her, and its so great that her literal aura drips with purity, but at this point you can't possibly expect me to believe that she's a true pure person. I honestly believe to my core that she is so enveloped in her ignorance and refusal to accept the truth about the world surrounding her, that she developed that naivety.
